The Witch’s rest - Cal Bolet


The Witch’s rest, is an agro-tourism accommodation that Magdala (the Witch from l’Empordanet) and her husband, Manel, have restored with all their love.

The country house is called CAL BOLET, it has always been named like this.

The charisma of the house has been respected throughout the restoration providing simple and austere atmosphere with open and light spaces.

Manel has been the only one responsible for the building and restoration of the house, he loves restoring houses and furniture and carries out this job with all his love, on the other hand the Witch from l’Empordanet has provided every single room with all her magic, which we can notice just when entering.

Rooms

It has three rooms: one double room, one with two double beds and another one with a bunk bed, 8 people in total

Services

The Witch’s rest - Cal Bolet consists of:

  • Sitting room and dining room with kitchen
  • 2 bathrooms, one of them with whirlpool bath
  • 7000m2 garden
  • There is a porch at the back of the house for breathing fresh air in summer hot afternoons.

Location

Cal Bolet is placed in Llorà, specifically in la Vall del Llèmena (Llèmena Valley), volcanic area surrounded by water, fountains, villages and Romanesque (Norman) chapels where time seems to have stopped.

The country house is:

  • 15 minutes from Girona, a city of historic, cultural and leisure interest.
  • 1 hour to the Costa Brava and its beaches.
  • 10 minutes to Garrotxa and Sant Aniol.
  • 1 hour to France.

Prices

  • Weekends: 400€.
  • Week: 1000€.
  • Two weeks: 1800€.
  • It is also available for New Year’s Eve. Price to be requested.
